Restaurant Supervisor
Salary: £12.50 per hours + Tips
Location: Birmingham City Centre
Job Type: Full-time

About the Role
Our client is a bold and buzzing hospitality venue in the heart of Birmingham, known for its creative food, standout cocktails, and unbeatable atmosphere. With a focus on delivering unforgettable guest experiences, they are now looking for a passionate and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to support the day-to-day running of the front-of-house team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management team in overseeing daily front-of-house operations
  • Lead by example in delivering warm, attentive, and memorable service
  • Supervise and motivate the team during service, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
  • Assist with training and onboarding new team members
  • Handle guest queries and feedback professionally, ensuring a positive resolution
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and atmosphere throughout the venue
  • Ensure all opening and closing procedures are followed correctly
  • Support with stock control, ordering, and supplier coordination
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service
  • Uphold health & safety and food hygiene standards at all times

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or senior front-of-house role
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and confident under pressure
  • A hands-on, can-do attitude and a team-first mindset
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends

Desirable

  • Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or bar
  • Knowledge of POS systems and basic stock management
  • First Aid or Food Safety certifications (preferred but not essential)
