Sous Chef
Salary: £30,000 
Location: Worcester

Pineapple Recruitment is excited to be working with a leading food-focused restaurant in Hereford that is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join their dynamic kitchen team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a creative, high-quality kitchen that prides itself on flavour, innovation, and consistency. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Chef to deliver a top-tier dining experience while supporting the development and training of the wider kitchen team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head Chef in the smooth running of day-to-day kitchen operations

  • Supervise, mentor, and support junior chefs and kitchen staff

  • Ensure exceptional standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene

  • Contribute to the creation of seasonal menus and daily specials

  • Manage kitchen stock levels and place timely orders

  • Uphold health & safety and food hygiene regulations at all times


About You:

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef de Partie

  • Genuine passion for food, creativity, and delivering exceptional dishes

  • Confident leadership and strong communication skills

  • Highly organised, calm under pressure, and team-oriented

  • Solid understanding of kitchen health & safety standards
