Pineapple Recruitment is excited to be working with a leading food-focused restaurant in Hereford that is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join their dynamic kitchen team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a creative, high-quality kitchen that prides itself on flavour, innovation, and consistency. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Chef to deliver a top-tier dining experience while supporting the development and training of the wider kitchen team.
Support the Head Chef in the smooth running of day-to-day kitchen operations
Supervise, mentor, and support junior chefs and kitchen staff
Ensure exceptional standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
Contribute to the creation of seasonal menus and daily specials
Manage kitchen stock levels and place timely orders
Uphold health & safety and food hygiene regulations at all times
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef de Partie
Genuine passion for food, creativity, and delivering exceptional dishes
Confident leadership and strong communication skills
Highly organised, calm under pressure, and team-oriented
Solid understanding of kitchen health & safety standards
Competitive hourly rate of £30,000
