Their acclaimed two-rosette restaurant takes pride in offering seasonal, locally sourced cuisine, with produce harvested from their own kitchen gardens. The restaurant is well known for its innovative farm-to-fork approach, exquisite afternoon teas, and immersive outdoor fire cooking experiences, including wood-fired pizzas in the garden restaurant.
My client is looking for an ambitious and skilled Chef de Partie to join their dynamic and forward-thinking kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate chef looking to refine their craft in an award-winning environment that values sustainability, seasonality, and creative menu development.
As Chef de Partie, you will work closely with the Sous and Head Chef to maintain the restaurant’s high standards while honing your skills across various sections of the kitchen. This role is perfect for a driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting and wants to contribute to an evolving culinary destination.
Prepare and present high-quality dishes in line with the restaurant’s seasonal menus.
Take ownership of a designated kitchen section, ensuring efficiency and consistency in food preparation.
Work closely with local farmers and suppliers to champion the use of sustainable, locally sourced ingredients.
Maintain exemplary hygiene, stock control, and kitchen organisation standards.
Support junior chefs through mentoring and training, fostering a positive team environment.
Assist in menu development, bringing creativity and innovation to new seasonal dishes.
Work collaboratively to ensure smooth service, upholding the restaurant’s two-rosette standard.
Contribute to the restaurant’s evolving culinary vision, including special events such as outdoor fire cooking and "Back Patio" dining experiences.
Experience working in a two-rosette or higher standard kitchen, or strong fine-dining experience.
Passion for farm-to-fork dining and working with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
A strong foundation in classic and modern cooking techniques, with a willingness to learn and grow.
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or an ambitious Demi Chef de Partie looking to take the next step.
Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene regulations, and stock control.
