Job Title: Sous Chef
Location: Newbury
Salary: £38,500 per annum + tronc £250–£350+ per month
Contract Type: Full time, permanent
Hours: 50 hours per week / 5-day week: Wednesday to Sunday (Mondays & Tuesdays off)

The role:The Sous Chef position is based in a cosy yet contemporary gastro pub nestled in Donnington Village, offering a beautiful riverside setting and a welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen focuses on delivering seasonal, honest food that lets quality ingredients shine.
We’re looking for a capable and motivated Sous Chef to join the team and help run a small but busy kitchen. Working alongside a full-time CDP and supported by the Executive Chef (who designs the core menus), you’ll play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen.
