Key Responsibilities
  • The Sous Chef is vital in assisting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen, including:
  • Kitchen Leadership: Coordinating kitchen staff and supporting the Head Chef.
  • Quality & Consistency: Ensuring all food preparation meets the highest quality standards, strictly adhering to portioning, cooking, and serving requirements.
  • Hygiene & Safety: Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, following all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
  • Stock Management: Overseeing proper purchasing, receiving, and storage of all food items.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be hardworking, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating delicious dishes. Essential requirements include:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Sous Chef or a similar role in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
  • Mindset: A strong attention to detail and comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
