Pineapple Recruitment is excited to be working with a dynamic and growing hospitality business based in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. Our client is on a lookout for a passionate and driven Sous Chef to join a talented kitchen team and play a key role in delivering bold, flavour-led dishes in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Whether you're experienced with Japanese cuisine or simply eager to learn, full training and mentorship will be provided by an experienced Executive Chef.
Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Lead by example and assist in training junior kitchen staff
Maintain high standards of food preparation, cleanliness, and consistency
Ensure smooth service during busy shifts
Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials
Uphold health and safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment
Previous experience in a professional kitchen as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie
Positive, team-focused attitude with a willingness to learn
Passionate about delivering high-quality food and guest experiences
Able to thrive under pressure in a busy service environment
Strong communication and leadership skills
