A successful, family-run bakery and kitchen with multiple London locations is seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join its growing team. This is a rare opportunity to work in a creative, quality-driven environment with morning hours only—giving you your evenings free.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Head Chef to oversee the hot food and salad section.
• Prepare and produce high-quality savoury items including salads, hot dishes, and sandwiches.
• Lead and support a team of 10+ bakers and chefs, providing training and guidance.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety.
• Assist with stock management, ordering, and waste reduction.
• Contribute creative ideas and new recipes that reflect the brand’s values.
• Ensure consistency and quality across all locations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Sous Chef or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen operations, and food production.
• Experience in high-volume production environments.
• Confident in food safety, hygiene, and nutrition standards.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with gluten-free and vegan recipes is a plus.
