Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Support the Executive/Head Chef in managing the kitchen team, ensuring a smooth workflow and maintaining high culinary standards.
• Menu Development: Assist in menu planning and development, contributing innovative ideas while ensuring consistency with the hotel’s brand and vision.
• Quality Control: Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain high-quality standards across all sections of the kitchen.
• Staff Training: Mentor and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and professional team environment.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage food costs to meet budgetary goals.
• Health & Safety: Ensure adherence to hygiene, cleanliness, and health and safety regulations at all times.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie ready for the next step.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
• Expertise in managing multiple sections, including grill and larder, in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Passion for food and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
