Location: Cotswolds
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum + Tips
Hours: Full-time, live-out position – own transport required, must be located within 30 mins drive from OX18

Job Summary:

Pineapple Recruitment is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Sous Chef to join a thriving hospitality venture in the heart of the Cotswolds. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in an exciting new project featuring a lively pub, food trucks, and a retail shop - all celebrating British produce and showcasing fresh, seasonal food sourced directly from British farmers.
Our client is looking for people who are fast on their feet, positive, calm under pressure, and genuinely excited to shape a new team from day one.

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• Leadership abilities to supervise and manage kitchen staff
• Previous experience in a restaurant setting, with a solid understanding of hospitality
• Ability to work effectively in a team and handle food production tasks efficiently
• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the pub's menu.
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met.
• Supervise kitchen staff and assist in training new team members.
• Manage food production processes to maintain efficiency.
• Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service.
• Contribute to menu planning and development based on seasonal ingredients.
• Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
• Strong culinary skills with a focus on provenance, food safety and hygiene

Experience required:

• Kitchen management: 5 years (required)
• Staff Management : 5 years (required)

License/Certification:

• Driving License (required)
