The Opportunity:
Pineapple Recruitment is seeking a passionate and skilled Chef De Partie or Senior Chef De Partie to join the team at a traditional, high-quality establishment known for its heritage charm and welcoming atmosphere.

Our client is a local favorite, celebrated for its cozy interior featuring open fires and a reputation for serving delicious, well-presented food—including a highly-regarded Sunday Roast. This is an excellent opportunity for a culinary professional who thrives in a characterful setting and is dedicated to delivering consistent, high-standard dining experiences.

The Role
As a pivotal member of the kitchen, you will support the Head Chef in daily operations, ensuring every plate meets the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will be a leader on the line, fostering a positive team environment and maintaining the efficiency of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Culinary Excellence: Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and food preparation, ensuring all dishes are executed to perfection.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing guidance to ensure seamless service.
  • Operational Standards: Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization, strictly adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Training: Help onboard and train new staff in cooking techniques and kitchen protocols.
  • Innovation: Collaborate with the team to develop creative, seasonal dishes that enhance the restaurant’s reputation.
  • Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering to ensure the kitchen remains fully operational.

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a dedicated professional with a "can-do" attitude and a genuine love for the craft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Experience: Proven background as a CDP or Senior CDP within a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and modern hospitality standards.
  • Leadership: A natural ability to manage a team effectively while keeping morale high.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
  • Passion: A drive to create exceptional dining experiences and a commitment to consistency.
