Sales Manager - Hampshire 
Salary: £34,000 to £40,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the annual sales and marketing plan to meet commercial targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively manage and grow corporate accounts, MICE agreements, and strategic partnerships.
  • Review and refine current sales processes, introducing new strategies to foster a strong sales and marketing culture.
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, industry events, and community functions.
  • Lead weekly yield meetings and provide data-driven insights using Opera and other reporting tools.
  • Host familiarisation and press trips to showcase the property and drive brand awareness.
  • Support hotel show rounds for MICE and wedding enquiries to boost conversion rates.
  • Champion loyalty programmes and initiatives to increase guest engagement and revenue.
  • Manage the sales and marketing budget in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Monitor local market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
  • Collaborate with the central marketing team to execute campaigns and promote on-property events.
  • Create and manage a calendar of promotions and special events to drive bookings.
  • Ensure accurate representation of the hotel across all external platforms and channels.
  • Work closely with the Group Sales Manager to identify and engage new business prospects.
  • Contribute content and ideas for social media and digital marketing efforts.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in a senior sales and marketing role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Commercially astute with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Confident in managing budgets and delivering ROI-focused campaigns.
  • Passionate about hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
