The Role:

We are currently looking for a Sales Director to join our Client's team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly driven Sales Director or Senior Sales Manager to join a brilliant business who can offer an enjoyable working environment

Reporting into the MD, the Sales Director will take control of the organisation's sales strategy. In order to deliver a "best in class" approach to winning new business and managing existing accounts, you will build and shape a team of sales professionals that will deliver on both your's and the organisation's vision and strategy. You will lead the charge in further developing their existing industry verticals and also breaking new ground.

The successful Sales Director will be responsible for networking, selling and opening doors for new business within the premium hospitality sector. Strong knowledge of the sector is essential and being able to bring a black book of key contacts will be beneficial.

Field based UK wide and is a full time role with occasional vistis to Head Office in Worcester

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential clients within the premium hospitality sector, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Develop the sales and marketing strategy for the business to achieve the short- and long-term goals and objectives.
  • Deliver year on year sales growth in line with the revenue and profit targets set for the business.
  • Generate additional financial value to the business through new sales revenues from new clients, existing clients, new markets, or new initiatives.
  • Produce and provide monthly KPI’s and reports on performance of the division to the board and management team.
  • Attend regular industry networking events, actively engaging, and developing new relationships, presenting, and hosting at conferences and on Webinars to promote the business and our services.
  • Deliver Sales Presentations

The Ideal Sales Director Candidate:

  • The candidate MUST have proven experience within Sales
  • Should have a healthy network of live contacts within premium hospitality venues and groups.
  • Strategic thinker who is highly driven and self-motivated, with the ability to consistently find and close opportunities.
  • Be a hungry driven salesperson who thrives on winning new business.
  • Must have experience influencing and negotiating with all level stakeholders and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Have a structured approach with a clear view on hitting targets.
  • Significant experience with B2B sales, with business unit leadership responsibility
  • Manage/Support the tender process
  • Demonstrable strong commercial management and commercial experience
  • An inspirational leader and strong team player, with the entrepreneurial ability to operate and excel in a changing and rapidly growing environment
  • Well-developed analytical, oral and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Strength of character to make their voice heard as part of a strong board of directors
