Regional Management Accountant
Location: Worcester (Hybrid working)
Salary £35,000-£40,000

We are seeking a Regional Management Accountant to act as a key support to our clients Commercial Finance Division. In this role, you’ll partner with the Head of Commercial Finance to bridge the gap between financial reporting and operational excellence. The Role:
As the financial backbone of regional operations, you’ll be the go-to person for analytical reporting and a key voice in client-facing reviews. This role requires an individual who is flexible, adaptable, and ready to thrive in an environment that never stands still.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Business Partnering: Collaborate with the Regional Operations Director and Managers to spot financial opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Financial Stewardship: Take full ownership of monthly financial statements and P&L reviews, investigating variances with a keen eye.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Support operational teams in building robust, realistic financial plans.
- Client Engagement: Attend client meetings to ensure contracts remain viable and handle financial queries with confidence.
- Process Management: Oversee monthly billing to ensure accuracy and provide financial training to non-finance staff.
- Compliance: Monitor risks and assist with year-end audits and ad-hoc reporting.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Experience: At least 3 years of practical experience in a Management Accounting role.
- Ambition: You are actively working towards a recognised accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent).
- Technical Savvy: Advanced Excel skills are a must.
- Communication: The ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
- Independence: A self-starter who can manage their own workload but loves being part of a team.
- Mobility: A willingness to travel to operational units and client meetings is essential
