Pub Manager | Independent Countryside Pub - Near Kings Lynn
Salary Package: Up to £60,000 per annum
Our client is an independent, growing countryside Pub and B&B focusing on a high-quality farm-to-fork fresh produce concept. They are seeking a highly accomplished and ambitious Pub Manager to lead the business through a significant expansion phase. The planned growth includes increasing the number of guest rooms, enlarging the dining room, and developing a potential on-site farm shop. This role requires a dynamic leader who can drive commercial success while maintaining impeccable standards of food, service, and hospitality.
Operational Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the pub, dining, and B&B operations, ensuring exceptional service standards are met across all departments.
Commercial Growth: Strategically drive the business expansion plans, focusing on increasing revenue from accommodation, the new dining capacity, and the development of the farm shop concept.
Culinary Focus: Utilise a strong understanding of fresh, seasonal produce to ensure the farm-to-fork concept is executed flawlessly, collaborating closely with the kitchen team.
Financial Management: Achieve and exceed commercial targets, managing stock, cost control, and profitability across all income streams.
Team Management: Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate the kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver consistent excellence.
Guest Experience: Ensure all guests receive outstanding hospitality, managing the B&B operation and maximising repeat business.
Background: Proven experience as a Pub or General Manager in a high-quality hospitality setting (e.g., gastropub, boutique hotel).
Culinary Expertise (Ideal): Ideally, candidates will have a cheffing background or a deep, demonstrated understanding of kitchen management, food costing, and premium fresh produce operations.
Commercial Acumen: A track record of driving revenue growth and managing complex P&L accounts.
Leadership: Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire a passionate team.
Mobility: Driving is essential due to the rural, countryside location.
Highly competitive total package up to £60,000 per annum.
