The Role:
- As Pastry Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for creating high-quality desserts and pastry items under the guidance of the Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Junior Sous Chef. Your duties will include
- Preparing and producing pastry items using fresh ingredients and modern techniques
- Ensuring the pastry section runs smoothly and efficiently each day
- Maintaining high standards in all food prepared and served
- Assisting in the preparation of staff meals, ensuring they are nutritious and wholesome
- Supporting junior kitchen staff with training and development to ensure consistency in service and product delivery
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and food production
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Minimum NVQ Level 1 and CIEH Level 2 qualifications
- Ideally, a year of experience in a similar Pastry Chef role
