Location: Nr Basingstoke, Hampshire
Salary: £26,500-£27,500 per year (plus service charge and tips)
Hours: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a luxurious 4-star property nestled in a stunning 315-acre country estate near Basingstoke. This venue is renowned for its exceptional hospitality, offering high-quality accommodation, weddings, conferences, and corporate events. We are looking for a talented and passionate Pastry Chef De Partie to join the team and contribute to the success of its 2 AA Rosette-awarded restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pastry Section Management: Collaborate with the team to manage and run the pastry section, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain smooth operations and deliver outstanding dishes.
- Budget Management: Assist in managing the section budget effectively.
- Health & Safety: Maintain impeccable hygiene standards and adhere to food safety regulations.

- A genuine passion for pastry and a vocation for culinary excellence.
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within a fine dining or rosette-awarded establishment.
- Strong team leadership skills and the ability to maintain self-control in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with colleagues and suppliers.

Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of pastry experience (preferred).
