Salary: From £24,000 per year + discretionary bonus scheme
Location: Worcester
Full-Time (37.5) + Flexible Working


 

The Opportunity

My client, a fast-paced, collaborative, and forward-thinking company, is looking for someone to join their Food & Nutrition team, which is the driving force enhancing their clients' experience. The role of Nutrition & Menu Coordinator reports into the Head of Food & Nutrition and is pivotal in supporting menu management processes, ensuring nutritional accuracy, compliance, and consistency across client accounts.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Communication & Database Management: Manage the nutrition service desk, responding promptly and professionally to client and customer queries. Organise and maintain the recipe and menu database to ensure smooth company operations.

  • Technical Validation: Ensure client menus are aligned with Approved Product Lists (APLs). Authenticate supplier uploads of nutritional, ingredient, and allergen data, and liaise with client teams to resolve discrepancies.

  • Menu Development & Compliance: Produce and maintain client menu templates for customer allergy, medical, and bespoke requirements. Adjust client menus to accommodate customer lifestyle choices and religious dietary requirements. Conduct nutrition analysis and provide accurate reporting for menu adjustments.

  • Platform Oversight: Oversee intranet platforms and shared drives, ensuring all documents are current, accurate, and accessible.

 

What My Client Is Looking For

  • Qualifications: A BSc Degree in Nutrition.

  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role or with transferable skills.

  • Skills:

    • Service Focussed: Demonstrated commitment to understanding client needs and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

    • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in handling client requests.

    • Data Management: Strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in managing digital systems, databases, and shared platforms.

    • Proactive Approach: Can-do proactive approach who is adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.

  • Knowledge: Knowledge of menu planning and confidence in analysing and managing nutritional, allergen, and ingredient data. Industry knowledge and experience within the catering and hospitality sector is desirable.
