Hygiene Technician - Droitwich

Our client is a national specialist commercial cleaning company with invaluable experience in providing deep cleaning services across the commercial sector, retail, catering, hotels and the wider hospitality industry. They’re now looking for a Hygiene Technician to join their team - someone who wants to be part of a company that delivers outstanding service to its clients while also supporting the success and career growth of its people.

About the role:
On a day-to-day basis, you will be attending sites that require commercial deep cleaning. This will include tasks such as ventilation and extraction duct cleaning. Full training will be provided, along with the necessary PPE.

• Carry out all cleaning tasks in accordance with the work schedule
• Take ownership of Health and Safety for yourself and others
• Complete all tasks in accordance with current legal Health and Safety requirements
• Maintain a high level of personal hygiene and appearance
• Observe and comply with site rules and regulations at all times
• Maintain equipment and materials in a clean and safe working order
• Respond promptly and courteously to customer and management requests
• Undertake any other duties requested by team leaders and management team

This role is:

• 40 hours per week including paid travel time in company crew vans
• Salary £12.21 per hour
• Based in Droitwich

Essential Criteria:

• Reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude
• Full clean driving license
• Be able to work to schedule
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Be able to work using your own initiative
• Flexible on working times – 5 days out of 7; available to work afternoons, evenings or nights
• Prepared to travel and stay away for short period of times

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning
• Knowledge and understanding of COSHH regulations
