Job Description

Pineapple are currently partnering with a thriving, Worcester-based organisation currently seeking an experienced HR Team Leader to join their expanding department.


The Role:

Working closely with the HR Services Manager and Director of People Operations, you will lead a dedicated team of HR Administrators and Coordinators. Your mission is to ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and customer-centric HR services across the entire employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, coach, and motivate a team of HR professionals, driving performance across onboarding, payroll, and offboarding.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations ensuring strict adherence to SLAs and KPIs while identifying trends and mitigating risks.
  • Process Transformation: Lead digitalisation initiatives to streamline workflows, identifying opportunities for automation.
  • Compliance & Risk: Act as the HR professional for compliance systems (RTW, DBS, and Vetting), serving as the primary escalation point for complex transactional issues.
  • Payroll Integrity: Manage HR-related payroll queries with precision, implementing control measures to guarantee peak accuracy.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Payroll, Talent, and HRBPs to ensure a seamless, integrated service for all internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring;
  • Proven Leadership: A track record of leading teams within an HR Service Centre or Shared Services environment, ideally in a medium-to-large organisation.
  • Systems Expertise: Adept at using HRIS and data analytics to monitor service delivery and drive excellence.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Deep understanding of Right to Work (RTW), DBS, and Data Protection Act obligations.
  • Efficiency Mindset: Experience in identifying and implementing workflow enhancements and automation.
  • Professionalism: The ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Qualifications: CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential.
