Job Description
HR Coordinator (Onboarding & Compliance)
Location: Hybrid / Worcester
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
Contract: Initial Fixed-Term (24 Months) with possible permanent option.

Are you an HR professional with a passion for precision and a deep understanding of compliance?
We are exclusively partnered with a dynamic organisation that helps businesses thrive through smart, human-centered HR. They are looking for an HR Coordinator to take full ownership of the onboarding and compliance function. This is a critical role where you will act as the "Subject Matter Expert," ensuring every employee journey starts with a seamless and low-risk experience.

The Role
As the HR Onboarding & Compliance Coordinator, you will be the backbone of the employee lifecycle. You won't just be "checking boxes"—you will be managing critical workflows, providing expert guidance to managers, and ensuring the business remains audit-ready and legally compliant at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance Lead: Act as the internal expert on Right to Work (RTW) legislation and safeguarding, providing clear guidance to the wider business.
  • Onboarding Excellence: Meticulously manage the end-to-end compliance process for new hires, including DBS processing and RTW renewals.
  • System Management: Take ownership of HRIS data integrity and compliance platforms, ensuring all records are impeccable and GDPR-compliant.
  • Audit & Risk: Maintain "audit-ready" tracking tools and proactively escalate any legal or business risks to the Senior HR team.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with HR Business Partners to drive projects that improve compliance workflows and efficiency.
  • Data Reporting: Use Excel or Google Sheets to analyze compliance data and extract actionable insights for the leadership team.
What You’ll Bring:
  • HR Foundation: You are likely CIPD Level 3 qualified (with an ambition for Level 5) or have equivalent experience as a seasoned HR Administrator/Advisor.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Proven experience managing high-volume compliance workflows, specifically RTW and DBS checks.
  • Communication Skills: A natural "people person" able to coach managers and build credible relationships across all levels.
  • Analytical Mindset: Comfortable reporting on data and using spreadsheets to manage complex, time-critical information.
  • Commitment to Safeguarding: A dedicated approach to promoting the welfare of young people (this role requires an enhanced DBS check).
The Perks:
  • Generous Leave: 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays + a buy/sell holiday scheme.
  • Development: Fantastic support for further learning and professional qualifications.
  • Well-being: Private medical insurance, life insurance, and enhanced family-friendly leave.
  • Flexibility: A true hybrid working model within a supportive, energetic team culture.
