Hotel Night Porter- Tewkesbury

Job Title: Night Porter
Establishment: Luxury Hotel
Location: Tewkesbury
Salary: £12.50 - £12.75 per hour
Hours: Full-time – 4 x 10-hour night shifts per week on a rota basis (20:00–06:00 or 22:00–08:00), including weekends

Job Summary:
Pineapple Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Night Porter to join the team at a beautifully appointed, independent hotel. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is organised, flexible, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the property during the night and ensuring everything is perfectly set for the following day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reception duties, including guest check-in and check-out using Rezlynx PMS
• Cash handling
• Bar service during night hours
• Setting up and clearing down conference rooms
• Providing limited 24-hour room service
• Ensuring the safety and security of the hotel and its guests overnight
• Acting as Fire Warden
• First Aid responsibilities (training provided)

Skills and Attributes:

• Previous experience in a night-based or hospitality role preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays
