The Opportunity: As a dedicated People & Culture lead, you won't just be "doing HR". You will be building the functional engine of the business. With active offices across the UK and beyond. Our client is looking for a strategic partner to the Chief Operating Officer who can professionalise the operations, safeguard their culture, and ensure the overall talent strategy keeps pace that mirrors their international growth.
Key Responsibilities:
People Strategy & Workforce Planning
Partner with Directors to lead workforce planning and resourcing
Design and evolve internal organisational structures to support scaling.
Manage succession planning to identify and prepare the next generation of company leaders.
Global Talent Acquisition
Own the end-to-end recruitment strategy, from headhunting to offer negotiation.
Standardise the onboarding and leaver processes to ensure a premium employee experience.
Build and manage "early career" pipelines, including graduates, trainees, and apprenticeships.
Performance & Talent Development
Design and implement a robust performance review framework for the entire group.
Identify high-potential employees through talent mapping and data-driven insights.
Oversee CPD (Continuing Professional Development) and professional standards compliance.
International HR Operations & Compliance
Employment Law: Act as the subject matter expert.
Policy & Systems: Standardise HR policies across all offices and manage payroll and staff data.
Compensation, Benefits & Rewards
Conduct salary benchmarking to ensure we remain competitive in multiple markets.
Review pay equity and transparency to foster a fair working environment.
Align staff targets with company profitability and billable hour metrics.
Culture & Internal Communications
Define and embed company values across a geographically dispersed workforce.
Monitor retention rates and implement engagement strategies.
Act as the "voice of the company," heading up internal comms and policy updates.
What you’ll bring:
Proven experience in a 360-degree HR role, ideally within a professional services or scaling SME environment.
Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software management.
Strong understanding employment legislation.
Experience in designing leadership development
Soft Skills:
Adaptability: You can shift from a board-level strategy meeting to helping a new starter a specific query or issue.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills.
Discretion: Ability to handle sensitive disciplinary, grievance, and pay-related matters with total integrity.
