Head Chef – Worcester - Hotel
Full-time, Permanent | £43,000–£50,000 per year + Quarterly Bonus + TRONC

About the Role

A charming, fresh-food boutique hotel in a prime location is looking for a hands-on Head Chef to lead its kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a background in a hotel environment with experience in banqueting and event catering. This is a unique opportunity to join a successful hospitality business and have full charge of menu development and creation. You will oversee all kitchen operations, leading a talented team of six chefs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire kitchen operation, including managing a team of six.

  • Take full charge of staff rotas.

  • Have complete say in menu development and creation, utilising fresh, local, and seasonal produce to create modern British classics with a twist.

  • Manage banqueting and event catering.

  • Ensure the kitchen operation is profitable.

  • Lead by example, with a passion for cooking and a focus on flavour.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience managing a busy kitchen, ideally from a hotel background.

  • Proven banqueting and event catering experience.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

  • Creative, reliable, and detail-oriented.

  • Financially aware and results-driven.

  • A passion for using the best, locally sourced seasonal ingredients.
