Our client is a market leading contract catering company specialising in school food. By combining their understanding of the education sector and their knowledge of what’s on trend in the food world, they encourage creativity and excitement in their kitchens, allowing teams to do what they do best and provide fantastic food experiences for the children.
By providing excellent care and services to both clients and children, our client has ensured the successful growth of the company and to keep up with the rapid pace of this growth, they are now looking for a Group Manager to join the team.
The role:
As the Group Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the client, customer and company expectations are not only met, but exceeded by managing the services detailed within the contract.
You will be working 40 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (based around term-time) for £33,000 per annumYour responsibilities will include:
Ensuring costs are controlled whilst providing a consistent level of service quality and delivery
Ensuring the food offerering is of the highest standard and in line with the current high street trends
You will manage and support the development, progress, and performance of all line reporting managers
Supporting the business through the completion of projects as required.
Managing and assisting in the mobilisation of new business wins
Assisting in the delivery of sales and retention presentations to both existing clients and potential new clients.
Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety and Hygiene procedures and standards
About you:
As an exceptional people manager, you have proven operational experience in managing large teams in multi-site operations with the confidence and communication skills to manage HR or performance related issues. You are financially savvy, having managed and compiled budgets previously. Being passionate about food, you keep up to date with food trends and industry standards with a real understanding of what good service looks like.
You’re highly motivated and able to motivate those around you. You have a proven ability to succeed, helped by your keen eye for detail over all aspects of your role.
