Location: Border of Worcestershire and Warwickshire
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 DOE + Tips + Bonus
Full‑time, permanent role with evening and weekend shifts included

About Our Client

Pineapple Recruitment is working on behalf of a respected, family-run restaurant specialising in authentic Asian cuisine. Known for its warm hospitality, quality ingredients, and strong community values, the business is now seeking an experienced General Manager to lead operations and support its continued growth.

The Role

The General Manager will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the restaurant, ensuring smooth operations, strong team leadership, and outstanding customer service. This is a hands-on role that requires commercial awareness, operational expertise, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage front and back-of-house teams
• Oversee daily operations including rotas, stock control, ordering, and service standards
• Take full ownership of P&L performance, budgeting, and cost control
• Conduct and maintain risk assessments, health & safety checks, and ensure full compliance with food hygiene and licensing regulations
• Drive team performance through coaching, training, and development
• Implement and monitor operational procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency
• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues with professionalism and care
• Represent the values of a family-run business with integrity and pride

Requirements

• Proven experience in a General Manager or senior hospitality leadership role
• Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Knowledge of health & safety legislation, food hygiene standards, and risk management
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Passion for Asian cuisine and delivering outstanding customer experiences
• A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and team development
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to location)
