As the Executive Chef Manager, you will be responsible for the overall culinary and operational success of the college's catering services.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Culinary Leadership: Overseeing all food production, ensuring the highest standards of quality, presentation, and consistency across all menus (staff, student, and hospitality events).

• Team Management: Leading, mentoring, and developing chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a positive and professional working environment.

• Operational Excellence: Managing budgets, stock control, supplier relationships, and ensuring strict adherence to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

• Menu Innovation: Developing creative, varied, and seasonal menus that meet the diverse needs of the college community and drive customer satisfaction.

• Client Relationship: Acting as the main culinary point of contact, maintaining a strong, professional relationship with the client.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven Experience: Experience as an Executive Chef, Head Chef, or Chef Manager, ideally within a high-volume education, B&I (Business & Industry), or similar contract catering environment.

• Leadership Skills: A natural leader with excellent communication, delegation, can-do attitude and team-building skills.

• Financial Acumen: Strong commercial awareness and experience in managing kitchen budgets, GP targets, and labour costs.

• Passion for Food: A genuine passion for cooking, seasonal ingredients, and delivering outstanding food quality.

• Qualifications: Relevant professional catering qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3/4, culinary degree) and a current Level 3 Food Hygiene certificate are highly desirable.
