The Role
Our client is now seeking a confident and commercially minded Events Lead to drive event bookings and deliver exceptional client experiences from first enquiry through to handover.
This is a hands‑on, guest‑facing role that blends reservations expertise with strong sales acumen. You’ll lead on complex event proposals, host client show rounds, manage the event sales pipeline, and ensure seamless planning in collaboration with the Events team. You’ll also work closely with the Reservations team, guiding reservationists on event sales processes and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the full event sales process from initial enquiry to confirmed booking
Create detailed, compelling proposals for a wide range of events
Host client show rounds and represent the venue with confidence and warmth
Manage and maintain the event sales and planning pipeline
Work closely with the Events team to ensure smooth planning and flawless execution
Collaborate with the Reservations team, supporting and guiding them on event sales standards
Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring a premium guest experience
Identify commercial opportunities to maximise revenue and drive bookings
Requirements
Proven experience in event sales, reservations, or a similar client‑facing hospitality role
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and convert sales opportunities
Confident in leading client show rounds and presenting proposals
Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
Highly organised, able to manage multiple enquiries and deadlines simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
Comfortable working collaboratively across departments
Proactive, positive, and solutions‑focused approach
Competent with booking systems, CRM tools, and general administrative processes
Flexibility to support events and client needs as required
