The Role
Our client is seeking a creative, energetic, and guest‑focused Events Chef to join their passionate kitchen team. This is a unique opportunity to inspire guests, connect people to food, and bring a seasonal, garden‑led ethos to life through unforgettable events and hands‑on cookery experiences.
You’ll be at the heart of the events offering - delivering exceptional food while engaging, educating, and inspiring guests. Leading on larger events, you’ll combine strong culinary skills with warmth, confidence, and personality.
Key Responsibilities
Designing and delivering seasonal, ingredient‑led menus for events alongside the Chef Director
Sharing knowledge, techniques, and passion for food with guests
Ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation across all dishes
Working closely with Front of House and Events teams to deliver seamless experiences
Championing seasonal produce and garden‑led cooking
Maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and organisation
Communicating allergen information clearly and confidently
Bringing energy, creativity, and a guest‑focused approach to every event
Requirements
Proven experience in a fine dining or high‑end culinary environment
Strong knife skills and excellent food preparation techniques
Knowledge of safe food handling, kitchen safety, and HACCP standards
Ability to work calmly and professionally in a fast‑paced environment
Excellent customer‑facing skills - you enjoy engaging with guests
Passion for seasonal, sustainable, and ingredient‑led cooking
A collaborative, positive, and adaptable approach
Culinary degree or formal chef training (desirable but not essential with strong experience)
