Job Title: Duct Cleaner - Team Leader
Location: Bristol
Salary: £26,000 to £31,500
Job Introduction:

As a Duct Cleaning team leader, you will lead a team of hygiene technicians across various sites, ensuring high standards of cleanliness in a range of environments. This includes cleaning kitchen hardware, ducts, fans, extraction systems, and flooring. Your role will involve hands-on cleaning as well as supervising the team to meet required standards.

Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support a team of hygiene technicians, ensuring the weekly cleaning schedule is followed.
- Ensure all areas of kitchens and equipment are cleaned to the required standards.
- Take responsibility for Health and Safety, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Maintain professional and courteous client relations at all times, representing the company image.
- Report any issues or non-conformances to the management team.
- Manage the use of cleaning chemicals, protective clothing, and hygiene supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Maintain cleaning records and complete work logs accurately.
- Provide feedback to management, including before and after photographs of completed work.
- Maintain equipment and materials in clean, safe working order.
- Ensure proper use of warning signs and adherence to site rules and regulations.
- Perform additional duties as requested by the management team.
The Ideal Candidate:
Essential:
- Experience in commercial kitchen cleaning and/or kitchen extract and ductwork cleaning.
- Reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
- Ability to lead and work as part of a team, as well as use initiative and make confident decisions.
- Ability to follow a set cleaning schedule.
- Flexible working availability – able to work afternoons, evenings, and nights (5 days out of 7).
- Willingness to travel and stay away for short periods.
- Full clean UK/EU driving licence.
- Knowledge and understanding of COSHH regulations.
Desirable:
- Supervisory experience.
- Emergency First Aid at Work training.
- Experience in ductwork project cleaning.
- TR19 training.
- IPAF and/or PASMA qualifications.
