Location: Sussex
Salary: £38,000 + Service Charge
Hours: 40 per week

 

Pineapple Recruitment is proud to partner with an esteemed luxury hotel in Sussex to offer an outstanding opportunity for a Conference & Banqueting Manager. This is a rare chance to lead a dedicated and professional team within the Food & Beverage department of an award-winning establishment.

As part of the senior leadership team, you will oversee all Conference & Banqueting operations, ensuring seamless event execution and an exceptional guest experience. You will also play a key role in the broader Food & Beverage service, driving quality, efficiency, and profitability across all outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Conference & Banqueting team, ensuring first-class service and smooth event operations.
  • Oversee all Food & Beverage services throughout the hotel, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Act as a key point of contact for Event Organisers, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Motivate and develop the team through training, recognition, and retention strategies.
  • Ensure all staff are highly trained and equipped to deliver excellence in service.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to enhance team performance.
  • Take ownership of cost control, ensuring budgets and financial targets are met.
  • Drive sales initiatives, maximising revenue opportunities across the department.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction through feedback analysis and implement improvements as needed.
  • Act as Duty Manager when required, representing the hotel at the highest level.
