Salary: £11.94 (subject to terms and conditions below) + TRONC (average £2,000+ per year in service charge)
Hours: Full-Time, Permanent (Both 40-48 hours per week contract available)
Joining Bonus: £1,000 (subject to terms and conditions)
 

About the Role:

This role is perfect for anyone looking to start their culinary journey and develop essential skills with the support of experienced chefs in a dynamic, high-standard kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation & Assistance: Assist with the preparation and presentation of quality dishes under the guidance of senior chefs.
• Support Across Kitchen Sections: Rotate through different sections of the kitchen, learning essential techniques and supporting in areas like cold starters, vegetables, and simple garnishes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Chef de Partie and Head Chef to ensure that dishes meet quality standards and customer expectations.
• Maintain Cleanliness and Organisation: Help uphold hygiene and cleanliness standards in all kitchen areas.
• Assist with Stock Management: Support stock rotation, labeling, and organization to maintain fresh and high-quality ingredients.

What We’re Looking For:

• Basic experience in a professional kitchen or relevant culinary training.
• A passion for food and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and maintain composure under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality food preparation and presentation.
• Willingness to develop new skills and take on different tasks as needed.
