Join the kitchen team of a beautifully refurbished 49-bedroom property in the heart of a historic market town. This venue blends 18th-century charm with modern hospitality, offering a previously awarded rosette restaurant, afternoon tea lounge, conference catering, weddings, and special events.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Commis Chef who is passionate about fresh, seasonal ingredients and eager to learn and grow within a supportive and professional kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes across restaurant service, events, and functions.
• Support senior chefs in maintaining smooth kitchen operations.
• Uphold excellent food hygiene and safety standards.
• Help with ingredient prep, stock rotation, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Learn and contribute to seasonal menu development.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a collaborative kitchen culture.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Some experience in a professional kitchen preferred (1 year+ ideal).
• Enthusiastic about cooking and learning new techniques.
• Passion for fresh ingredients and quality presentation.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
• Able to commute or relocate to the Buckingham area before starting.
