Job Title: Chef de Partie
Location: Oxford
Salary: £28,350 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week

The Opportunity

Pineapple Recruitment are collaboration with one of Oxford’s largest and most prestigious colleges, who is seeking a talented Chef de Partie to join its professional kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, producing fresh, high-quality dishes to restaurant standards. You’ll gain experience catering for a wide range of events, from large banquets and formal dinners to daily meals for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards across all kitchen sections.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene, allergen control, and health & safety practices.
• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chefs in delivering exceptional dining experiences.
• Assist with menu planning and contribute creative ideas for seasonal dishes.
• Ensure efficient stock control and minimise waste.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as required.

About You

• Passionate about creating outstanding food with strong attention to detail.
• A team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Qualified to City & Guilds 7061/2 (or equivalent) or with relevant professional experience.
• Able to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
• Flexible and willing to work 5 days out of 7, including weekends when required.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but we also welcome applications from ambitious Junior Chef de Partie looking to progress.
