Job Description

Our client is an independent restaurant well known throughout the industry as a center of culinary excellence. They pride themselves on producing exquisite French cuisine with a contemporary twist embellished by superb wine List.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef De Partie to join our client.


Working hours:

Split Shifts are as follows:

Tuesday 9am – 11pm; Wednesday through Friday 8:30am – 10pm
Saturday 8:30 to 11pm

All days 2 hour break between around 3pm to 5pm

Between Tuesday and Saturday ½ day off

Days off
Sunday and Monday – Off all day

Salary - £26k-30k



*Prepare menus in collaboration with colleagues
*Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations
*Prepare ingredients that should be frequently available (vegetables, spices etc.)
*Follow the guidance of the executive or sous chef and have input in new ways of presentation or dishes
*Put effort in optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
*Enforce strict health and hygiene standards
*Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation


Requirements and skills:

*Proven experience in a Chef De Partie role
*Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
*Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
*Knowledge of best cooking practices
