About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our client's dynamic restaurant team in Thetford. Known for its commitment to fresh, locally sourced ingredients and seasonal menus, the restaurant is a favourite among locals and visitors alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage your designated section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient service
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard, following recipes and presentation guidelines
• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations
• Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards at all times
• Assist with stock control, ingredient prep, and minimising waste
• Contribute ideas for new dishes and seasonal menu updates
• Help maintain cleanliness and organisation in your section and across the kitchen

Requirements

• Experience gained working as a Chef/Cook in busy restaurant/catering operations
• Creativity – the ability to assist in creating new menus with a hands-on approach and eye for detail.
• An understanding of legislation and compliance
• A positive attitude and outgoing personality are a must
• A strong desire to have autonomy in your job and ambition to develop your career in line with the business growing
• Have a flexible approach to working
• Pizza making (wood-fired) experience is an advantage but not necessary
