Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our Client based at stunning venue on a waterfront location, based near Poole. This site offers an impressive fresh food menu in its restaurant and holds large private events, offering excellent career opportunities to develop and progress.

On top of a competitive salary of £28,000 you will have great benefits and plenty of development opportunities. Chance to progress to Junior Sous after probation.

* Salary: £28,000 + monthly tips
* Hours: 5 days a week, 45 hours, split shifts
* Meals on duty 
* Location: Near Poole - Own transport desirable, free parking provided

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

* Provide a friendly catering service, performing a variety of manual tasks associated with food production and service
* Preparation, cooking and presentation of food to agreed standards.
* Help with preparation of food items and maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen
* Work alongside the kitchen team

Required skills include:

* A strong understanding of produce and ingredients
* Experience of a variety of kitchen environments and cuisines
* Knowledge of food production methods
* Embrace new ideas and processes
* Positive and approachable manner

In order to be successful, you'll need to have:

* Experience as a CDP, working in a similar environment
* Ability to follow instructions
* High Standards of hygiene
