Key Responsibilities

• Kitchen Leadership: Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in managing the kitchen team, ensuring a smooth operation in your designated section.

• Menu Contribution: Support in the development and execution of the menu, ensuring all dishes meet the high standards expected by the hotel’s guests.

• Quality Control: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards, maintaining consistency across all shifts.

• Team Development: Assist in training junior kitchen staff, sharing your expertise to help them grow within their roles.

• Stock Management: Maintain high standards of stock control, ordering supplies when necessary, and minimising food wastage.

• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all food preparation adheres to food safety and hygiene regulations.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Commis Chef looking for the next step in your career.

• Ability to manage and run your own section with minimal supervision.

• Strong organisational and time management skills to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.

• Passion for cooking, with an eye for detail and a commitment to quality.

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.

• Ability to work well within a team and maintain a positive working environment.
