Salary: £25,000-£28,000 P/A
Location: Martley- Live in available!
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

 

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join their dynamic and innovative kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-level dining environment, where fresh food and ever-changing menus are at the heart of the culinary experience.

As a Chef de Partie, you will play a pivotal role in the preparation and delivery of exceptional dishes, showcasing creativity and expertise while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.


Key Responsibilities:

Under the guidance of the Head Chef and Sous Chef, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to a high standard across various sections of the kitchen.

  • Contributing to the creation of ever-changing menus, ensuring the use of fresh, seasonal ingredients.

  • Ensuring all food safety, hygiene, and kitchen working practices comply with current regulations.

  • Managing and mentoring junior members of the team, fostering a collaborative and positive kitchen environment.

  • Assisting in the receipt, storage, and rotation of provisions to maintain quality and minimise waste.

  • Maintaining a clean and organised workspace at all times.

About You:

Our client is looking for a motivated Chef de Partie who has a passion for fresh food and culinary innovation. The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity, and professionalism to the role.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent experience).

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a high-level dining or fresh food environment.

  • Thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong culinary skills and a keen eye for detail.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.

  • A proactive and team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.

  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to menu development.
