About the Role:
Our client is seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join their dynamic and innovative kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-level dining environment, where fresh food and ever-changing menus are at the heart of the culinary experience.
As a Chef de Partie, you will play a pivotal role in the preparation and delivery of exceptional dishes, showcasing creativity and expertise while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of the Head Chef and Sous Chef, your responsibilities will include:
Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to a high standard across various sections of the kitchen.
Contributing to the creation of ever-changing menus, ensuring the use of fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Ensuring all food safety, hygiene, and kitchen working practices comply with current regulations.
Managing and mentoring junior members of the team, fostering a collaborative and positive kitchen environment.
Assisting in the receipt, storage, and rotation of provisions to maintain quality and minimise waste.
Maintaining a clean and organised workspace at all times.
About You:

Experience and Qualifications:
NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent experience).
Previous experience in a similar role within a high-level dining or fresh food environment.
Thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

Strong culinary skills and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
A proactive and team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.
