Our client, known for its award-winning farm-to-table dining experience, is looking for a passionate and talented Chef de Partie. Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation & Presentation: Deliver exceptional dishes across various sections of the kitchen, upholding the highest standards of quality.
- Section Management: Oversee a specific kitchen section (e.g., sauces, vegetables, or pastry) to ensure consistent excellence.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef: Work closely with the Head Chef and gardening team to craft seasonal menus featuring fresh, farm-grown produce.
- Menu Development: Play an active role in refreshing menus based on seasonal availability and sustainability goals.
- Support and Mentor the Team: Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative, high-energy environment.
- Health & Safety: Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP, COSHH) are meticulously followed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role.
- A genuine passion for farm-to-table cuisine and working with seasonal ingredients.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to excel under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
- A team player with excellent communication skills.
- A valid driving licence due to the rural location.
