A beautifully refurbished 49-bedroom property in the heart of a historic market town is seeking a passionate Chef de Partie to join its talented kitchen brigade. The venue blends 18th-century charm with modern hospitality, offering a previously awarded rosette restaurant, afternoon tea lounge, conference catering, weddings, and special events.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who loves working with fresh, seasonal ingredients and is eager to grow within a supportive and professional kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes for restaurant service, events, and functions.
- Manage your section efficiently during busy service periods.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards.
- Assist with stock control and ingredient preparation.
- Collaborate with the team to develop seasonal menus and specials.
- Support junior chefs and contribute to a positive kitchen culture.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- At least 1 year of hands-on cooking experience preferred.
- Passion for fresh ingredients and creative presentation.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings.
- Ability to commute or relocate to the Buckingham area before starting.
