Pay Rate: £13.64 per hour (+ all overtime paid)
Hours: 40 to 46 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Typically 11:00 AM / 12:00 PM until finish (approx. 10:00 PM)
Volume: High-volume service (380 to 470 covers per day)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Venue

Pineapple Recruitment is partnering with a stunning, historic country house hotel destination to recruit a talented Chef de Partie. Known for delivering exceptional hospitality and premium dining experiences for guests enjoying relaxing leisure breaks, this high-volume, prestigious estate offers a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

You will be part of a structured, passionate, and well-supported kitchen team of roughly 30 professionals (including a dedicated kitchen porter team), making it a fantastic environment to sharpen your culinary skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Section Ownership: Run your assigned kitchen section completely independently and efficiently during busy high-volume services.

• Food Production: Prep and cook all dishes to the exact required company standards, specifications, and presentation levels.

• Team Mentorship: Supervise, support, and mentor Commis Chefs working alongside you on your section.

• Hygiene & Compliance: Maintain strict kitchen hygiene standards, including correct date labelling, meticulous stock rotation, and proper food disposal.

• Allergen Awareness: Demonstrate strong knowledge of food allergens and safety operations to ensure guest well-being.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Proven track record running a section in a high-volume, quality-driven kitchen environment (such as hotels, large restaurants, or premium banquet operations).

• Leadership: Strong communication and coaching skills to guide and develop junior team members.

• Compliance: Up-to-date knowledge of food safety, health & safety, and allergen regulations.

• Attributes: A reliable, organised, and proactive approach to service who thrives under the pressure of a busy pass.
