Salary: Up to £30,000 per year (plus service charge and tips)
Hours: Full-Time, Permanent
Live-in accommodation: may also be available for £75 per week.

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a luxurious 4-star property nestled in a stunning 315-acre country estate near Basingstoke. This venue is renowned for its exceptional hospitality, offering high-quality accommodation, weddings, conferences, and corporate events. We are looking for a talented and passionate Chef De Partie to join the team and contribute to the success of its 2 AA Rosette-awarded restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Section Management: Take responsibility for managing a specific kitchen section, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Menu Execution: Assist with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes in accordance with menu specifications.
• Stock & Budget Control: Assist in stock management, portion control, and ensuring cost efficiency within your section.
• Health & Safety: Uphold impeccable hygiene standards and adhere to all food safety and health regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

• A genuine passion for high-quality cuisine and a dedication to culinary excellence.
• Experience in a similar Chef de Partie role, ideally within a fine dining or rosette-awarded establishment.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to foster a harmonious kitchen environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar Chef de Partie role (preferred).
• A valid driver’s license and access to own transport due to the property’s rural location.
