Salary: Starting from £65,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance / Company Car
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Pineapple Recruitment is excited to partner with a rapidly expanding contract catering company in the hospitality sector. We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to lead our client’s business development initiatives across South Midlands, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, & Oxfordshire.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Business & Industry (B&I), hospitality, and catering. This is an exceptional opportunity for a proven leader with a solid track record in business development to drive expansion across multiple sectors, including Hospitality, Education, Leisure, and Social Care.
Identify and Secure New Opportunities: Engage potential clients through strategic prospecting, networking, and meetings to generate new business.
Sales Strategy Development: Contribute to the formulation and execution of effective sales strategies and territory management plans.
Market Analysis: Monitor, analyse, and report on market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of industry developments.
Achieve Targets: Consistently meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets through proactive business development efforts.
Sales Cycle Management: Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing, ensuring a robust pipeline at all times.
Relationship Building: Cultivate long-term relationships with clients and suppliers, understanding and responding to their needs.
Client Care Excellence: Ensure outstanding client care throughout the sales process and beyond, fostering enduring partnerships.
Proven Success: A solid track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation and presentation skills to effectively convey value propositions.
Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with strong self-management, accountability, and initiative.
Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to manage data and reports effectively.
Relationship Management: Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining robust client relationships.
