Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our client - a contract catering company. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and enhancing the market presence. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for sales and will have contract catering in education background.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve company growth targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling proposals and presentations that showcase our client's services.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
• Utilise Salesforce software to manage leads, track sales activities, and report on performance metrics.
• Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote the company and establish connections.
• Manage the full sales process

The ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably within education contract catering.
• Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical skills.

Package:

• Salary £65,000-£70,000 DOE
