Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum + TRONC (£8,000 – £10,000 per annum)
Location: Cotswolds
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Pineapple Recruitment is proud to represent an exceptional destination venue in the heart of the Cotswolds. Our client has built a proper great British pub - busy, welcoming, and bursting with character. They serve locally brewed craft beers and fresh, seasonal dishes sourced directly from British farmers in a high-volume, multi-faceted environment.
We aren't looking for a corporate clipboard-carrier. We are seeking a service-focused, enthusiastic, and deeply people-oriented Assistant Manager to join the front-of-house leadership team. This is a fast-paced environment where energy, a natural warmth with guests, and leading by example on the floor matter just as much as operational experience. If you love a lively atmosphere and genuinely enjoy making people smile, you will fit right in.
Service Excellence: Act as a vibrant presence on the floor, managing the natural flow of a high-volume restaurant and bar while keeping guest satisfaction at the centre of every decision.
Team Inspiration: Lead, coach, and motivate the front-of-house team by example, fostering an enthusiastic, supportive, and high-energy working environment.
Guest Connection: Build instant rapport with visitors, handling guest feedback with grace and ensuring every single person leaves wanting to return.
Operational Drive: Support the General Manager in the daily running of the business, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining pristine safety and hygiene standards.
FOH & BOH Synergy: Maintain seamless communication with a busy open kitchen team to ensure food service runs efficiently and consistently.
The Personality: An infectious, positive attitude and a relentless enthusiasm for great hospitality. You must be a natural "people person."
Experience: Previous supervisory or assistant management experience within a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant or premium pub environment.
Floor Presence: A hands-on leader who thrives in a bustling, physical environment and prefers interacting with guests over sitting in the back office.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to coordinate a large team under pressure.
Flexibility: A proactive team player who can adapt quickly to changing priorities during peak trading periods.
Financials: Strong basic salary up to £40,000 plus an exceptional TRONC package adding an additional £8,000–£10,000 per year.
Perks: Generous food and drink discounts across the business, plus free meals provided while on shift.
Culture: Regular team socials, company events, and a genuinely fun, supportive workspace.
Growth: Training and development pathways within a high-profile, fast-growing hospitality brand.
Convenience: Free on-site parking.
