Location: Worcester / Hybrid
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum + Study Support + Comprehensive Benefits
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time


Pineapple has partnered exclusively with a high-growth, strategically-focused company in Worcestershire. Renowned for its dynamic nature and sustained success, they are searching for a proactive and adaptable Assistant Management Accountant.

This is a brand-new, pivotal role designed for a detail-oriented professional ready to be the reliable backbone of the finance function. You will ensure the efficient and accurate flow of transactional data that directly supports key business operations.

Beyond transaction processing, this Assistant Management Accountant progressive role offers a fast-track into Management Accounts, Forecasting, and Budgeting. You'll receive full support for your continued career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities Include:

As a crucial member of the Finance Team, your primary objective will be to ensure all financial data is precise, timely, and compliant, directly upholding the integrity of the business's core financial records.
  • Reconciliation & Accuracy: Taking full ownership of key reconciliations and ensuring all transactional accounts are consistently accurate and current.
  • System Integrity: Reviewing and actioning outstanding items on the financial systems, including the posting of journals and allocating open items related to transactional data.
  • Data Processing: Efficiently assisting with weekly data uploads from the procurement system into the main financial software.
  • Query Resolution: Proactively chasing and actioning any missing transactional items, swiftly resolving phone calls and email queries from internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintaining clear, timely communication and developing an understanding of how financial processes impact cash flow and operational stability.
What We Are Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have existing experience working within a Finance Team, possess excellent technical foundations, and able to contribute positively to a supportive team environment:
  • Technical Proficiency: Proven ability to work confidently with large amounts of transactional data, with intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Excel being integral to this position.
  • Meticulous Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to processing data accurately and efficiently.
  • Workload Management: The ability to manage a busy workload effectively, work well under pressure, and adhere to strict financial deadlines.
  • Ownership & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and a strong willingness to take ownership and responsibility for your area, collaborating effectively across the wider business.
  • Adaptability: A flexible and highly adaptable approach to tasks and priorities, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Qualification: AAT/Qualified by Experience
