Job Title: Assistant B&R Manager
Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire
Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum + Tips
Hours: 45 hours a week - Full-time, Permanent

The Role:

Pineapple Recruitment is seeking a passionate and hands-on Assistant Bar and Restaurant Manager to support the day-to-day running of the restaurant and bar operations. Working closely with the Bar & Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards, building the venue’s reputation, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

You will lead by example, setting the tone for the team and consistently monitoring the finer details that distinguish the venue from the competition. This is a customer-facing role, and you’ll be expected to take charge and represent the business whenever the Bar & Restaurant Manager is off-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Bar & Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant and bar
• Lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding service
• Ensure smooth coordination between Front of House and Kitchen teams
• Uphold and promote values of professionalism, integrity, and teamwork
• Monitor service standards and address any issues proactively
• Engage confidently with guests, ensuring their needs are met without exception
• Maintain a welcoming and high-quality environment throughout the venue
• Assist with staff training, shift planning, and operational decision-making

About You

• Proven experience in a hospitality leadership role within a fast-paced fine dining restaurant
• Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences
• Confident communicator with the ability to lead and inspire a team
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• Committed to fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration
• Energetic and personable, with a genuine love for interacting with people
